Yeumbeul : Un dealer insulte et résiste aux policiers lors de son arrestation
A targeted operation conducted by the Yeumbeul-Comico police station's search brigade on the night of September 3 to 4, 2025, at around 2 a.m., at stop 75 in the Darou Salam district of Yeumbeul, resulted in the arrest of three individuals involved in Indian hemp trafficking. The operation was marked by violent resistance from one of the suspects. The three individuals arrested are identified as B. Seck, 34; M. Tine, born in 1993; and B. Seck No. 2, 30. All reside in the Darou Salam district. They are now facing prosecution for offering and selling Indian hemp, rebellion, and contempt of court.
A hectic arrest with a significant seizure
The operation took place in several phases. The police initially managed to apprehend two of the suspects without major incident. The security body search proved successful, with the discovery of 14 cones of Indian hemp in their possession, according to Seneweb sources.
The situation became more complicated with the arrival of other members of the group who fled, abandoning a motorcycle containing two more cones of narcotics, bringing the total seizure to 16 cones of Indian hemp. The most tense moment of the operation occurred during the arrest of the third suspect.
The latter put up fierce resistance to the BR elements, repeatedly insulting and provoking the police officers who finally subdued him. This hostile attitude aggravated his case, in addition to the drug trafficking charges, those of rebellion and insulting a public official in the exercise of his duties.
Once taken to the police station, the three accused were subjected to an in-depth interrogation. Confronted with the evidence gathered against them, they ended up partially admitting the facts with which they were accused.
They were then placed in police custody pending their appearance before the prosecutor. The seized drugs and the motorcycle are being entered as evidence for the purposes of the investigation.
