AG de l'UMS : Le nouveau Président connu !
At the General Assembly of the Union of Magistrates of Senegal (UMS), held this Saturday, August 9, 2025 in Dakar, Cheikh Ba, President of the Chamber at the Dakar Court of Appeal, was elected president of the organization. He succeeds Ousmane Chimère Diouf, whose term ended after two consecutive years.
Cheikh Ba won against two other candidates, Mouhamadou Ndiaye Sarr, deputy prosecutor in Saint-Louis, and Khaoussou Diop, president of the Chamber at the Ziguinchor Court of Appeal and former secretary general of the UMS. The election, marked by debates on the independence of the judiciary and improving working conditions for magistrates, highlighted a generational clash between the experience of Ba and Diop and the youth of Ndiaye Sarr.
Known for his rigor and seriousness, Cheikh Ba takes the helm of the UMS with the goal of strengthening the unity of magistrates and restoring the credibility of the often-criticized judicial institution. His experience, including his previous candidacy against Magatte Diop, and his network within the judiciary make him a highly anticipated leader to meet these challenges.

ALERTE AUX ODEURS NOCTURNES DE L'USINE SOPLAST.
Nous informons l'État, particulièrement le ministre de l'environnement, des odeurs supers intenses, nauséabondes et toxiques que dégagent l'usine SOPLAST de Keur Mor Ndiaye de Thiès, durant la nuit, de 20 H de la nuit à 8 H du matin. Avec cette canicule, il est irrespirable la nuit.
La population environnantes est en Danger !!!!!!

C'est un alimentaire et un corporatiste!L'UMS devrait se focaliser sur la securite judiciaire des senegalais.Lui parle de logements et d'avantages pecuniers.
Il est metis européen/ et d'iola il est vraiment du pays ce monsieur .il ressemble plus à 1 américain. Bizarre,mais bon j'espère qu'il surveillera bien la justice des citoyens, sénégalais. Bon travail conformément à la loi.
