MITTA et COJOJ : une convention pour une mobilité plus fluide
The Minister of Infrastructure, Land and Air Transport (MITTA), Yankhoba Diémé, and the General Coordinator of the Dakar 2026 Youth Olympic Games Organizing Committee (YOOGCO), Ibrahima Wade, signed an agreement this Friday to ensure smooth, secure and sustainable mobility before and during the Olympic Games.
It focuses on planning and implementing an optimal transport system for athletes, officials, spectators and the public.
The agreement also provides for the creation of a dedicated committee, the development of an operational transport plan, the mobilization of public and private operators and the provision of qualified personnel.
Through this alliance, MITTA will provide its expertise in infrastructure and flow management, while COYOG will ensure effective coordination with all stakeholders.
Both entities share the desire to make the Dakar 2026 YOG an exemplary event in terms of sport, but also in terms of logistical organization and legacy for future generations.
