Au total, 238 élèves issus des 19 écoles élémentaires de la commune de Ngoundiane, dans le département de Thiès, ont été distingués ce samedi 8 juillet, à l’occasion de la deuxième édition de la journée de l’excellence organisée par le maire de la commune, Mbaye Dione.

La cérémonie de remise de distinctions aux meilleurs élèves de la commune a réuni les autorités municipales. Occasion pour le coordonnateur des directeurs d’écoles de Ngoundiane, Babacar Ndour, de magnifier ce geste de Mbaye Dione pour son assistance aux familles démunies. «En primant aujourd’hui les 238 meilleurs élèves de Ngoundiane, le maire a retiré aux parents une épine du pied. Ce sont les deux premiers de chaque cours qui sont récompensés pour le travail qu’ils ont fourni durant l’année scolaire», dit-il.

Selon lui, «le maire est quelqu’un qui a beaucoup œuvré pour le développement de l’éducation à Ngoundiane». Tous les engagements qu’il avait pris vis-à-vis du comité éducatif de la commune, ont été respectés, à savoir «la construction des salles de classe, la réhabilitation des tables bancs défectueuses, etc. Chaque année, il nous donne des dotations scolaires tellement importantes que toute l’année scolaire, les élèves n’ont pas besoin d’acheter des fournitures», s’est félicité le directeur de l’école Thiangaye.

Pour Mbaye Dione, ce geste s’inscrit dans le cadre d’un élan de solidarité et d’entraide aux élèves. «C’est une initiative que nous avons prise depuis deux ans pour dire qu’il est temps qu’on récompense les plus méritants. Les plus méritants ce sont nos enfants, nos fils, nos nièces qui ont été primés... Et c’est la raison pour laquelle cette journée est d'une importance capitale», a expliqué le maire qui a félicité et invité les élèves à cultiver l’excellence.

Enfin, pour régler définitivement le problème des abris provisoires et permettre aux élèves de travailler dans des conditions d’excellence, le maire a promis la construction de 12 salles de classe dans les différents écoles de la commune. «Aujourd’hui, on est en train de lancer un chantier pour construire 12 salles de classe. 4 ont été déjà construites cette année et 8 autres seront construites dans la commune sur le fonds propre de la commune de Ngoundiane. Notre commune ne peut pas se développer si on n’a pas un système éducatif de qualité. C’est pourquoi c’est notre secteur prioritaire», a conclu Mbaye Dione.

voilà un gosse exemplaire sérieux travailleur courtois qui aime son ngoundiane natal . il doit être connu de tout le pays . il est un des rares politiciens qui disent ce qu'ils font . il ne ment jamais il est très sincère
