Iran : Trump menace d'"anéantir" l'île de Kharg si les discussions avec Téhéran n'aboutissent pas "rapidement"
Donald Trump, continuing to blow hot and cold on the war in the Middle East, threatened on Monday to annihilate Kharg Island, an oil site essential to Iran, if the Strait of Hormuz is not reopened and if the talks with Tehran, which he describes as "serious", do not lead to a "quick" conclusion.
"The United States of America is in serious discussions with A NEW, AND MORE REASONABLE REGIME to end our military operations in Iran. Enormous progress has been made, but if for some reason an agreement is not reached quickly, which it probably will be, and if the Strait of Hormuz is not immediately 'open for business,' we will conclude our lovely 'stay' in Iran by blowing up and totally obliterating all of their power plants, oil wells, and Kharg Island (and maybe all of their desalination plants!)," the US president wrote on his Truth Social network.
