Une directrice d’école aurait détourné des milliers d’euros du compte de l’association des parents
Nathalie Lecluse, director of two municipal schools in Thimister-Clermont (province of Liège), is accused of having embezzled several thousand euros from the account of the parents' association of the Clermont school, reports La Meuse.
Nathalie Lecluse, a municipal councilor for the IFR (MR-Engagés et indépendants) party in Theux, has been on sick leave "for some time," according to our colleagues. Parents and teachers noticed irregularities several months ago, particularly concerning funds raised at the school fair.
Alice Jacquinet, the mayor of Thimister-Clermont, recently announced in a press release that the municipal council had decided on November 13th to dismiss the employee in question. The municipality has also filed a complaint with the police.
Nathalie Lecluse declined to comment on the matter.
