Conakry devient la capitale africaine de l’intelligence artificielle avec le Transform Africa Summit 2025
From November 12 to 14, 2025, Conakry will host the 7th edition of the Transform Africa Summit (TAS 2025), a major continental event and the first of its kind in Francophone West Africa. Under the theme "AI for Africa: Innovate Locally, Impact Globally," the summit aims to make the continent a strategic player in the global governance of artificial intelligence. By bringing together public decision-makers, investors, startups, and researchers, the event seeks to be a catalyst for transformation, where innovation becomes a lever for sovereignty and competitiveness.
Beyond its technological dimension, the TAS 2025 marks a political and geoeconomic turning point. It enshrines Africa's commitment to breaking free from prolonged technological dependence by promoting local research, sovereign digital infrastructure, and the development of ethical frameworks adapted to its realities. The issues of data governance, training, and funding for innovation ecosystems will be central to the discussions, in a global context where artificial intelligence is reshaping power dynamics.
