L’exposition « Sunu Cosaan » décode les secrets du Teeru, Teral et Taaru

The exhibition "Teranga – Sunu Cosaan," currently on display at the Théodore Monod Museum of African Art (IFAN), offers a fresh perspective on Senegalese hospitality. Blending ancestral heritage with modern demands, the event aims to transform this intangible heritage into a genuine driver of performance for organizations.

Dakar is no longer content with simply experiencing its legendary hospitality; it is institutionalizing it. The exhibition "Teranga – Sunu Cosaan, from Gesture to Influence" invites the public to a "sensitive immersion in a living cultural heritage." Far from being a mere nostalgic celebration, this initiative, driven by the Terangaesprit® approach, aims to elevate hospitality to the status of a "shared benchmark" and a tool for transformation for businesses. According to its creators, Teranga represents a "structured language, both cultural and universal," capable of adapting to both private homes and the most formal institutions.

The framework of this reflection rests on three fundamental pillars that codify this art of living. It all begins with Teeru, this benevolent welcome that "acknowledges the presence of the other" and immediately establishes an atmosphere of respect. It is inseparable from Teral, a refined service that unfolds over time and "anticipates the needs" of the guest through perfectly controlled gestures. Finally, the whole is crowned by Taaru, a relational elegance characterized by "restraint and dignity, whatever the circumstances."

The stakes are high: to bring Teranga (hospitality) from the social sphere to the world of work. Drawing on its expertise in quality standards, Terangaesprit® offers a structured and contemporary interpretation of this heritage, transforming it into a tool for economic stakeholders. The exhibition itself was designed as an immersive experience, where every installation, every material, and every interaction contributes to the narrative.

This creative synergy, born from the collaboration between Fatyly Ceramics, D+D ArchiDesign, and Serey Concept, demonstrates that hospitality is an "art of relationship, coherent and demanding, imbued with meaning and value." By formalizing these practices, Senegal affirms its commitment to making its hospitality a globally recognized standard of excellence.

Excellente !
