Affaire Prodac : Pape Malick Ndour, pourquoi la chambre d’accusation n’a pas tranché ce mercredi
The indictment chamber of the Financial Judicial Pool (PJF) was scheduled to examine on Wednesday the prosecution's appeal against the order issued by the senior investigating judge granting provisional release, with the wearing of an electronic bracelet, to Pape Malick Ndour in the Prodac case. The judge did not follow the PJF prosecutor's recommendation, who had requested a warrant for the arrest of the former minister, who is being prosecuted for criminal conspiracy, embezzlement of public funds, and money laundering.
Libération reports that the Chamber did indeed discuss the case, but did not deliberate. And for good reason. It "demanded access to the entire file in order to establish its position," the newspaper explains, adding that the decision has been postponed until January 21.
