Après 689 rotations, 26 000 passagers transportés à l’aller : DDD promet un retour dans des conditions optimales
Twenty-six thousand passengers transported! This is the result of the outward operations of the Gamou carried out by the national public transport company, Dakar Dem Dikk (DDD) during the 2025 edition of the Maouloud in Tivaouane and Kaolack, between Tuesday, September 2 and Thursday, September 4. An exceptional system composed of more than 300 buses allowed DDD to carry out 689 rotations on the outward journey.
"DDD is the preferred choice of the Senegalese, thanks to its social prices and its reliability," boasts Mame Guèye Ndao, partnership manager at DDD, who came to inquire about the availability of the fleet at the Tivaouane site.
According to him, the national transport company's achievement of this satisfactory result is thanks to the promptness of its technical and logistics teams, who carry out the task quickly and safely. "Buses arriving from Dakar are immediately cleaned, maintained, and prepared for the next day's departures," he emphasizes.
Regarding the return operations from Gamou, Mr. Ndao assures that they will be carried out under optimal conditions, tomorrow Friday, September 5, from 5 a.m., with prices maintained at 2,500 CFA francs (Tivaouane - Dakar) and 4,000 CFA francs (Kaolack - Dakar).
