Bukayo Saka signe un nouveau contrat et devient le joueur le mieux payé d’Arsenal
Bukayo Saka has signed a new five-year contract with Arsenal, extending his stay at the club until 2031.
Saka's previous contract was due to expire in June 2027, but he has now committed to the Gunners until 2030.
The England international has become a key player for his boyhood club under Mikel Arteta, playing more minutes than any other Arsenal player since the manager's appointment in 2019.
“I’m over the moon. This is a fantastic moment for my family and me. I’m delighted to continue my journey at this club. It was a no-brainer for me and I hope to win everything here,” he said in an interview with the club’s media.
"The journey I've taken, from my beginnings to today, and that of the team as well, is exceptional."
"I believe the coming years will be the years in which we take the next step, where we can win trophies and make history with this club. We are back where we belong, ready to win everything."
Saka will be aiming for glory with Arsenal, who are still chasing trophies in the Premier League, Champions League, FA Cup, and Carabao Cup this season. The 2020 FA Cup remains the only trophy he has won with the club to date.
The 24-year-old is the latest Arsenal player to commit to the club long-term, following William Saliba and Gabriel Magalhães who both signed long-term contracts in the past year.
