PSG : Luis Enrique évoque la fin de son parcours d’entraîneur
Luis Enrique's future at Paris Saint-Germain appears to be taking shape. Having been in discussions with the Parisian management for several months regarding a contract extension until June 2030, the Spanish coach reportedly already has a clear idea of how he plans to end his coaching career.
In an interview with the Asturian newspaper "La Nueva España," the former Spain coach admitted that he doesn't see himself coaching indefinitely. At 56, Luis Enrique is already starting to seriously consider his post-playing career.
"I tell my wife: I don't want to end up as an old geezer on the bench. I don't want that. I think that beyond 60 years old…," he confided humorously.
The former coach of FC Barcelona, AS Roma and Celta de Vigo also joked about his future retirement by mentioning his brother Felipe.
According to reports, Luis Enrique is considering ending his coaching career at the age of 60. This timeline coincides perfectly with a potential contract extension at PSG until 2030, as he will turn 60 in May of that year.
Although no official agreement has yet been announced, everything suggests that the Parisian adventure could be Luis Enrique's last major experience on the bench.
