Réunion de crise de la FSF : acculé, un responsable se défend
The Executive Committee of the Senegalese Football Federation (Comex) met this Thursday at the federation's headquarters to try to resolve the internal crisis related to ticketing for the Senegal-Gambia match, scheduled for March 31 at the Abdoulaye Wade Stadium in Diamniadio. According to L'Observateur, which reported the information, the meeting, which lasted nearly three hours (from 1:15 p.m. to 4:11 p.m.), was marked by frank exchanges on the "procedural irregularities" and lack of coordination reported by the oversight committees.
The main point of contention concerned Bamba Bâ, who held the dual roles of President of the FSF's Marketing Commission and Director of Jotali, the ticketing platform. When questioned about a potential conflict of interest, he defended his position by pointing out that he had worked pro bono for the FSF and by presenting his financial results: 600 million CFA francs generated during the Senegal-Egypt match in 2022 and a profit of over 200 million during the Senegal-Mauritania match in October 2025, without ever billing the Federation for his services.
To put an end to the controversies surrounding external service providers, Bamba Bâ announced the upcoming launch of "Go Gaindé," a ticketing application specific to the Senegalese Football Federation (FSF) and inspired by the Stade de France model. This platform should allow the federation to manage its ticketing completely independently and could be operational as early as the Lions' next home match.
Despite some administrative shortcomings, Bamba Bâ's explanations were deemed convincing. A compromise was proposed to clarify the prerogatives of the Finance, Audit, Marketing, and Technical committees, so that the General Assembly could be held in a calm atmosphere, according to the same source.
