Massage et "finitions" : une proxénète et ses masseuses risquent de 6 mois à un an ferme
A sordid sex crime case was heard this Friday at the Dakar Magistrates' Court. The case involves six young women arrested in a massage parlor in Nord Foire. They are N. Ndiaye, charged with pimping and disseminating obscene images, and A. Diop, MD Kebe, R. Diop, A. Diop, and S. Sagna, accused of failing to possess health cards and endangering the lives of others.
Placed in pretrial detention on February 18, 2026, the defendants were arrested by officers of the Dakar Urban Security Unit. Following a post on a dating site offering a "massage plus" service, priced between 15,000 and 40,000 CFA francs, an agent posed as a client. He contacted the phone number listed in the advertisement. Ms. N. Ndiaye gave him the address of the salon. This led to a raid by the police, resulting in the women's arrest.
When questioned, A. Diop, MD Kebe, R. Diop, A. Diop, and S. Sagna stated that they had been recruited by N. Ndiaye. They indicated that they performed massages with "happy endings," consisting of oral sex and massaging their clients' genitals until ejaculation. Afterward, they shared the earnings with their boss.
Presented as a pimp, N. Ndiaye admitted to renting the apartment to offer massage services. She stated that the advertisements were placed on the website by someone else. In court, the defendants admitted to the charges against them.
In his observations, the public prosecutor, Babacar Béye, stated that the defendants were engaged in clandestine prostitution. He asked the court to find N. Ndiaye guilty of pimping and disseminating obscene images, as well as the remaining charges of failing to possess a health certificate and endangering the lives of others. The prosecutor requested a one-year prison sentence and a fine of one million CFA francs for N. Ndiaye, and six-month prison sentences and fines of 500,000 CFA francs for the others.
Defense attorney Aboubacry Barro requested leniency in the application of criminal law. The court adjourned the case for deliberation until April 10th. Following an objection from the prosecution due to a lack of guarantee of appearance in court, the judge rejected the request for provisional release filed by their counsel.
