False and particularly malicious information shook social media this Friday, April 24, 2026. A rumor announcing the death of Mamour Diallo, leader of the Dolly Movement, circulated insistently, creating strong emotion among his supporters.

The Dolly Movement's communications team was quick to react and put an end to these speculations. In an official statement received by our newsroom, the movement issued a categorical denial: "We wish to inform national and international public opinion that Mamour Diallo is doing very well," the statement reads.

The political leader's communications team claims to have spoken with him just a few minutes ago: "It was we who informed him of this unfounded rumor circulating about him. President Mamour Diallo is calmly going about his business."
