Tambacounda : Découverte du corps sans vie d’un déficient mental près de la mosquée de Gounass
The Gounass neighborhood in the Tambacounda district is in shock after a gruesome discovery made yesterday, Sunday, around 10 p.m. The lifeless body of a man, identified as having mental health issues, was found near the local mosque.
At present, the victim's identity has not been established and the exact circumstances of their death remain unknown. Alerted immediately upon the discovery of the body, members of the 61st Fire and Rescue Company, along with detectives from the Tambacounda Central Police Station, went to the scene immediately.
After the standard procedures were carried out by the police, the body was removed and taken to the morgue at the Tambacounda Regional Hospital. An autopsy is expected to be performed in the coming hours to determine the actual cause of death. An investigation has been launched by the police to shed light on this matter.
