Le gouvernement, Sonko et ses hommes clés
"Senegal is not experiencing a classic political crisis. What the country is suffering from is a problem of authority. If we continue like this, we won't even serve a single term."
These words, spoken in early July during the installation of the Pastef National Council, already resonated as a warning from Prime Minister Ousmane Sonko against the dysfunctions of the state apparatus. A problem he considered profound and worrying.
"I am in the best position to say what the party line was. What is happening now is unacceptable," he added, criticizing the "slowness" observed in certain departments, notably that of Justice, then headed by the former and tenacious prosecutor Ousmane Diagne.
Today, the latter has been removed from the government, as has General Jean-Baptiste Tine, previously Minister of the Interior and Public Security. In his place, Sonko has chosen Me Bamba Cissé, a renowned lawyer, rewarded for his legal battles against the former regime, to defend the now Prime Minister. From now on, he is called upon to assist him in running the state.
Justice, meanwhile, falls to Yacine Fall. Many expected to be willing to accept any government reshuffle, but this Sonko loyalist not only remains in power, but is gaining in stature. Thanks to a protocol shift, she even becomes the new government's second-in-command.
Another notable development is the appointment of Dethié Fall to the strategic Infrastructure Department, and especially of Amadou Bâ as Minister of Tourism, Culture, and Crafts. A lawyer by training, the former MP was one of Sonko's most loyal supporters, representing him in several elections. His promotion is seen as a logical reward.
On the other hand, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs is experiencing a turning point with the appointment of a seasoned diplomat, known and respected internationally, called upon to correct the failings observed since the arrival of the new regime.
But it is especially to the Interior and Justice departments that Sonko seems to want to give strong political impetus. The objective: to accelerate certain sensitive issues, calm the frustrations of impatient activists, and restore the authority of the state.
A very political government, therefore, but tailor-made for the Prime Minister, who thus places his closest allies in strategic positions.

Apparemment on aime les gens médiocres pour mieux briller parmi eux
Aujourd'hui, pendant que les criminels narguent en prenant des selfies, on nous donne des justificatifs du genre "oui, mais la justice a son propre temps ", "oui, mais il faut éviter de faire ce qu'ils ont fait eux, ce n'était pas de la justice ", "oui, mais maintenant on veut une vraie justice, une justice humaine ".
Excusez moi, mais j'ai l'impression de voir un être humain devant un âne, et qui m'explique: "Je veux prouver que je suis plus humain que cet áne ". Ah bon ! Tu as besoin de prouver ?
Bien sûr qu’on est pour la justice et le châtiment des coupables
Mais cela ne doit pas se faire au détriment de la compétence et de la rigueur
J’ai de la tristesse à le dire mais madame YACINE FALL est faible intellectuellement comme beaucoup d’autres dans ce gouvernement
De plus, je trouve extrêmement maladroit de nommer Me Bamba Cissé comme ministre de l'intérieur après avoir été son avocat lors de ses procès retentissants (affaire Adji Sarr, Mame Mbaye Niang, etc)
Me Bamba sera ferré dans les propos qu'il avait jadis tenu à moins de se dédire.
Quand l'ancien député Amadou BA devenu Ministère de la culture et autres, je trouve que la récompense n'est non seulement pas mérité mais les insuffisances de ce monsieur vont se révéler très vite.
