The second edition of the Grand Forum Création Africa on cultural and creative industries opened on Thursday, October 16 in Lagos, Nigeria. It is one of the largest professional meetings in the cultural field, bringing together several cultural stakeholders and professionals. Senegal is highly represented by its artists, filmmakers, singers, influencers, stylists, designers, and cultural journalists, with a strong delegation led by the French Embassy in Senegal.

At the initiative of the new Africa-France summit, this forum helps create synergies between Africa and the rest of the world, in the atmosphere of cultural and creative industries. Participants from some thirty African countries, including Senegal, which has the largest delegation, are currently in Lagos. This event has enabled France and Africa to be leading partners in the CCI ecosystem.

After a successful first edition in Paris, the organizers decided to combine business with pleasure by choosing Nigeria, a country renowned for its highly dynamic cultural ecosystem, for the second edition in the city of Lagos, a first on the African continent. This is a great opportunity for African and European cultural stakeholders to create encounters and connections for their future projects.

Launched by the French Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs and supported by Mansa Maison des Mondes africains, the ambition of the Africa Creation Forum is to become a true showcase for meetings and exchanges, synonymous with a platform for cooperation and dialogue between Africa and Europe.

Several activities, such as panels and B2B meetings, took place in the presence of illustrious personalities. And these activities will continue until Saturday with a mega show.
