JTC 2025 : Le Théâtre facteur d'unité et de rassemblement !

Considered one of Africa's largest cultural events, the Carthage Theatre Days (JTC) in Tunisia contribute to the development of African theatre. The 26th edition will take place from November 22nd to 29th, 2025. Several African countries will participate in this major cultural event, with troupes and artists engaging in fierce competition.

Established in 1983, the Carthage Theatre Days grew out of the Carthage Film Festival. Today, they are one of the most important artistic events on the Arab scene, and in Africa in particular. Several prominent figures from the world of arts and culture will attend this significant cultural event. Senegal will be represented by a large delegation of artists and cultural administrators.

The Carthage Theatre Days (JTC) are a forum for exchange and networking among cultural professionals and for the circulation of artistic works. The festival has made a name for itself through innovation and performances recognized by culture enthusiasts. The JTC have welcomed renowned directors and brought emerging companies to the world stage, giving visibility to the new generation of actors and playwrights.

For the 2025 edition, more than 80 shows from Tunisia, the Arab world and the rest of the world are expected on stage under the slogan "Theatre, a conscience and a change. Theatre, the beating heart of the street".

The 26th edition promises an artistic flair that is just as playful, continuing the idea of highlighting Arab and African roots for a broad opening onto the world's biggest stages.
