À Osaka, le Président Diomaye Faye mise sur les PME pour incarner l’élan économique du Sénégal
As Senegal Day approaches at Expo 2025 Osaka-Kansai, President Bassirou Diomaye Faye has placed Senegalese small and medium-sized businesses at the center of national representation. Despite a busy diplomatic schedule, he made a point of personally meeting with the entrepreneurs present, thus underscoring the strategic role he attributes to the private sector, reports RTS.
During this exchange, the Head of State praised the energy, ingenuity, and commitment of SMEs/SMIs, which he considers essential levers of progress. He reaffirmed the Government's commitment to supporting these economic players in order to build a robust, competitive, and sustainable economy. For him, the private sector is both an engine of growth and a source of jobs and innovation, essential to the country's emergence.
This meeting, organized on the sidelines of the World Expo, embodies a clear vision: Senegal's future will be written with its entrepreneurs. Their presence in Osaka illustrates the country's openness to the international market and the desire of its companies to establish themselves in new markets, while promoting national identity.
With this gesture, President Diomaye Faye reaffirms that support for private initiative is at the heart of his economic policy. It is with Senegalese businesses that he intends to build a new ambition for the country's development.
