Crise au Mali : Le PIT du Sénégal appelle à une initiative politique urgente pour éviter l’effondrement total
Bamako under threat: the capital surrounded by rebel forces
According to information the party says it has been monitoring for several weeks, the Malian capital is facing "growing" threats as rebel forces continue to advance. Perfectly familiar with the terrain, they are inexorably approaching Bamako, taking advantage of the disarray of a regular army in a state of panic and weakened by military setbacks on several fronts.
Images widely shared on social media testify to a humanitarian situation that has become "untenable." Shortages of fuel, food, and basic necessities: civilian populations, the first victims of the conflict, find themselves caught in the crossfire between the rebel advance and the responses of government forces.
According to the PIT, several supply routes to Bamako are now cut off, exacerbating an unprecedented surge in prices: "A kilogram of rice now sells for several thousand CFA francs," the statement mentions.
"The military solution has shown its limitations": the PIT challenges the Malian junta
For the Senegalese party, the facts are clear: a strictly military strategy has failed to stabilize Mali. "The military solution has reached its limits," asserts the PIT, which calls on the junta currently in power to "assume its responsibilities" and engage in a courageous and inclusive political process.
The party believes it is urgent for the Malian authorities to unite all forces committed to peace in order to break the cycle of hatred and violence. The only credible alternative, it says, is a "genuine return to calm" to end the suffering of the civilian population, "who bear no responsibility whatsoever for this devastating war."
"Too much blood has been spilled": a call for collective responsibility
The PIT strongly condemns what it calls an "ostrich policy" and reminds everyone that Malians have already paid a heavy price. "Too much blood has been spilled in this country for us to continue ignoring the gravity of the situation," the statement insists.
In solidarity with the "brotherly people of Mali", the leaders of the Independence and Labour Party express their "deep sorrow" at what they describe as the spectacle of the progressive disintegration of a country crushed by an endless conflict.
For the PIT, it is still possible to avoid the worst — provided that the path of dialogue, reconciliation and a lasting political compromise is finally favoured.

l'armee malienne s'effondre elle connaît des revers etc voilà le discours mensonger des officines de propagande occidentale pour semer la panique et déclencher une révolution de couleur malheureusement le plan à capote.

Bamako les écoles ont ouvert leurs portes le carburant est présent etc.
Il ya plus d'une année les terroristes avaient envoyé un commando de plusieurs centaines de combattants pour attaquer Bamako plus spécifiquement l'ecole de gendarmerie et l'aeroport, résultats tous les membres du comando ont était tués, quelques mois en arrière plusieurs commandos ont été envoyé dans plusieurs villes pour les occupé exemple Kayes la aussi échec total et tous les terroristes massacrés.
Il faut qu. 'on nous explique qu'après ces échecs comment les mercenaires terroristes peuvent encerclé la capitale, comment ceux qui ne peuvent ni occupé ni encerclé la moindre petite ville peuvent couper Bamako du reste du monde
comme le disait cheikh anta Diop le mal que le colon nous a fait est trop profond et 65 Ans après les indépendances trop d'Africains ne se voient vivres qu'en étant esclaves de la France et beaucoup parmis eux sont des intellectuels
Malheureusement les dirigeants africains ne se posent pas ou esquissent les questions de fond.
La lutte contre la pauvreté, la pensence de l'Etat sur le territoire national et la restauration de l'équité et le respect des aspirations républicaines de chaque communauté.
