Assassinat à Cannes (France) : le suspect intercepté à l’AIBD, il revenait du Cap-Vert à bord d’Air Sénégal
Senegalese police may have apprehended Kassim Houna's killer. Houna's body was found on January 8, 2025, in bushes in Cannes, France. The victim had been stabbed multiple times.
"The judicial police quickly identified one of the suspects, namely AB Lopes, who could not be found after the crime was committed," reports Libération, which gave the information in its Thursday edition.
To find the suspect, Interpol issued a red notice last August. Thanks to this wanted notice, the AIBD special police station apprehended the 24-year-old man, who was returning from Cape Verde on an Air Senegal flight, before handing him over to the Interpol National Central Bureau (NCB).
“Lopes was placed in extradition custody [Wednesday] by the public prosecutor’s office for kidnapping and false imprisonment resulting in death, committed by an organized group, as well as participation in a criminal conspiracy. The French authorities, having been informed, intend to request his extradition,” the newspaper reports. It emphasizes that Dakar was merely a stopover for the accused, who was preparing to embark for Morocco.

Ce fait rapelle qu' en 2012 , un grand délinquant français criminel trafiquant de drogue international toujours sous mandat d'arrêt européen s'était terré à Saly . Recherché par Interpol pour être extradé car jugé en France et condamné à 7 ans d'emprisonnement ferme . Ce dernier a été laissé libre au SENEGAL par l'ancien régime avec une nationalité douteuse , des contrats SAPCO pour lui permettre de construire des résidences à Saly . Malgré de nombreuses infractions financières et criminelles , épinglé par le CENTIF en 2021 , il est toujours libre.
Bravo les FDS , cela indique que les FDS sont à l'oeuvre du JUB.
. Il est temps que le pays réactive les conventions .
