Crime passionnel à Rufisque : Le meurtrier blessé arrêté à l'hôpital de Keur Massar
A tragic crime of passion occurred on Thursday, November 27th in Rufisque, where a young man was fatally stabbed during a violent altercation stemming from a love dispute. The suspected murderer, who had been on the run for several hours, was apprehended at the Keur Massar hospital where he was receiving treatment for his injuries, according to Seneweb sources.
On Thursday, November 27, around 3 p.m., the urban security of the central police station of Rufisque was alerted to the discovery of a lifeless body at the "Dioutiba roundabout", in a street corner located a few cables from the garage of the "clandestine taxis" of Keur Massar.
An on-site investigation was immediately conducted. Arriving at the same time as the firefighters, investigators discovered a young man with brown skin, shirtless, lying on his back on the ground, wearing black pants, in a pool of blood. The victim had visible injuries to his chest and shoulder, and his body was entirely covered in blood. He has been identified as Daddy Mathieu Camara, 26 years old and unemployed.
Eyewitness accounts
According to witnesses at the scene, they saw two young men fighting near the football field. Later, one of them fell while his opponent continued to stab him. The assailant then fled as a crowd chased him. The body was taken by firefighters to the morgue at Youssou Mbargane Diop Hospital in Rufisque.
Further investigations enabled investigators to arrest the suspected murderer, identified as Mr. Ndiaye, aged 30 and a driver by profession.
After cross-referencing information about his escape route, police located the suspected murderer at Keur Massar Hospital, where he had gone to be treated for injuries sustained during the fight with the victim. He was arrested by officers from the Criminal Investigation Unit and taken to the police station after receiving treatment at the hospital.
The suspect's detailed confession: a crime of passion
After a brief questioning at the police station, the suspect confessed to the charges against him. According to his statements, the victim, whom he knew well, was drunk at the time of the incident.
According to him, "Daddy Mathieu Camara found me at the 'clandos' bus stop in Keur Massar, Rufisque, accusing me of hitting on his girlfriend. That's when the situation escalated," he stated. He then got up to leave. Armed with a knife, Daddy Mathieu chased him, threatening to kill him. When he caught up with him, Daddy, he says, struck him violently on the left arm, then twice more on the chin and left cheek.
In response to this attack, Mr. Ndiaye claims to have snatched the knife from his opponent's hands. Overcome by anger and the pain of his injuries, he then, according to his own account, stabbed him several times in the chest and neck. He then fled after Daddy collapsed.
Placed in police custody, the suspected murderer will be brought before the public prosecutor on Tuesday to answer the murder charges against him.

Le crime passionnel n'existe pas. Un crime est un crime et ne peut être justifié par l'amour. C'est un féminicide !
