Italie : un Sénégalais de 27 ans arrêté, il serait l’agresseur silencieux de femmes à Milan
Is A. Seck in full possession of his mental faculties? This 27-year-old Senegalese man was arrested a few days ago in Milan. He has been placed in detention at the San Vittore prison in the Italian city. He is accused of having committed several assaults against women between the ages of 24 and 61. The alleged crimes took place between last August and early October around the central train station and Porta Veneza.
According to Les Échos, which reported on the case in its Wednesday edition, surveillance cameras installed at the location allowed investigators to track down the suspect. The newspaper notes that the common thread between the various assaults is that the alleged perpetrator had no apparent motive. "Neither theft nor sexual harassment was detected," the daily newspaper emphasizes.
The same source adds: "The victims, all chosen at random, described an attacker who seemed to strike impulsively, without exchanging words or attempting to approach them."
Les Échos reports that police deemed A. Seck "unstable and difficult to understand." They noted that he arrived in Milan last July and had been reported 43 times, both in Milan and Rome, for violent or irregular behavior.
