A trivial argument turns into a tragedy

Deadly ambush at Shell station

The customer gets out of the vehicle at the Shell station in Jaxaay. Apparently, the matter is closed. But it isn't. Far from turning the page, the disgruntled passenger decides to take action.

He waits there. He watches for the apprentice driver's return. When the young man passes by the station again, the customer appears and strikes. He pulls out a knife and delivers two violent blows to the apprentice driver: once to the forehead, once to the chest.

The apprentice collapsed, seriously injured. The suspect immediately fled, leaving the young man lying on the ground.

The minivan driver, who witnessed the scene or was quickly alerted, reacted immediately. He took charge of his injured apprentice and rushed him to the Keur Massar health center.

At the scene, medical personnel noted the severity of the injuries. The victim's life was in danger. The victim was immediately transferred to Fann Hospital in Dakar, which was better equipped to handle this type of trauma.
