Ziguinchor : Un trafiquant de drogue Interpellé avec 194 Comprimés d’ecstasy et du skunk
The Ziguinchor Central Police Station made a major drug seizure on November 11, 2025, resulting in the arrest of an individual for international drug trafficking.
According to the Police, the operation follows the exploitation of operational intelligence indicating the existence of a vast ecstasy trafficking network organized by an individual between a border country, Ziguinchor, and Cap Skirring.
Following targeted investigations, an intervention team located the suspect on board a public transport vehicle coming from the neighboring country.
During the search of the suspect, the police discovered: 194 ecstasy tablets and loose Skunk (a variety of cannabis).
The drugs were meticulously concealed in two coffee pots. Law enforcement also seized a sum of money, including foreign currency.
The individual has been taken into custody. The investigation continues to dismantle the entire network.
