The kiss cam affair continues to make headlines. On July 16, Andy Byron, CEO of Astronomer, was caught cheating with a colleague at a Coldplay concert in Boston. The scene went viral, but new revelations are changing the game.
According to The Times, Kristin's husband, Andrew Cabot, was also present that evening, accompanied by another woman. The couple had already been separated for several weeks, according to their relatives, and their divorce was "finalized well before the concert."
A source close to the case assures that there was never an affair between Kristin Cabot and Andy Byron, only “a strong friendship,” although the latter admits that the gesture was inappropriate given their “hierarchical relationship.” Her reflex to duck when the camera appeared? “She herself doesn’t know why.”
But while Kristin and Andrew were separated, Andy Byron's marriage was still ongoing. His wife reportedly filed for divorce shortly after the video surfaced. The professional consequences were also severe: both colleagues left the Astronomer company.
