Décès à 53 ans de l'acteur de "Grey's Anatomy" Eric Dane
Last year, Mr. Dane announced that he had been diagnosed with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), a neurological disorder also known as Lou Gehrig's disease.
"It is with a heavy heart that we announce that Eric Dane passed away Thursday afternoon after a courageous battle with ALS," his family said in a statement quoted by CBS and other media outlets.
Eric Dane, born in San Francisco, made his television debut in 1991 in an episode of the series "Saved by the Bell".
His breakout role in "Grey's Anatomy" began in 2006, where he portrayed the charming surgeon Dr. Mark Sloan. He appeared in 139 episodes until 2021.
He also starred in the HBO drama series "Euphoria", where he portrayed Cal Jacobs.
