An Egyptian national died during the evacuation of the Habshan gas complex in the emirate of Abu Dhabi, where a fire broke out on Friday after debris fell following the interception of an attack, the government announced.
Two Pakistani nationals and two Egyptian nationals were also slightly injured, while "significant damage was observed on the facilities," he specified on X.
The Emirati government had indicated earlier in the day that it had closed the complex "while the fire was being brought under control".
