Israël : Benyamin Netanyahou limoge son conseiller à la sécurité nationale
In Israel, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has parted ways with his national security adviser, Tzachi Hanegbi. Hanegbi himself reported his dismissal.
Netanyahu "informed me today of his intention to appoint a new chairman of the National Security Council. In view of this, my term ends today," said Mr. Hanegbi, who promised to make himself "available" to his "successor if necessary."
Disagreements with Netanyahu
He also called for an investigation into the circumstances of the October 7 massacre. According to the Ynt news website, Netanyahu parted ways with his aide over differences in views on the conduct of the war in Gaza.
Hanegbi reportedly opposed the IDF's occupation of the Palestinian enclave and reportedly did not make the final trip to Washington with Netanyahu.
