Trump fustige les "journalistes corrompus" de la BBC après un montage contesté d'un de ses discours
Donald Trump denounced the BBC's "corrupt journalists" on his Truth Social network on Sunday, after the announcement of the resignations of the director general and the head of news at the British public broadcasting group, who were implicated in the controversial editing of one of his speeches.
"These are very dishonest people who tried to influence the outcome of a presidential election. To top it all off, they come from a foreign country, considered by many to be our number one ally. This is terrible for democracy!" the American president continued.
The case, revealed by the conservative newspaper The Daily Telegraph on Tuesday, concerns a documentary broadcast a week before the US presidential election of November 5, 2024. The BBC is accused of editing passages from a speech by Donald Trump on January 6, 2021 in such a way that he appears to tell his supporters that he will march with them to the Capitol to "fight like hell".
