Ali Khamenei was indeed killed in the Israeli strikes on Iran. US President Donald Trump officially confirmed the news. He dedicated a post to this information, which he made public on his digital platforms. His full message is below.
“Khamenei, one of the most evil figures in history, is dead. This is justice not only for the Iranian people, but also for all Americans and citizens of many countries around the world who were killed or maimed by Khamenei and his gang of bloodthirsty thugs.”
He could not escape our intelligence services and our extremely sophisticated surveillance systems. Working closely with Israel, neither he nor the other leaders killed with him could do anything. This is the most precious opportunity for the Iranian people to regain control of their country.
We are learning that many of their Revolutionary Guards, military, security forces, and police no longer want to fight and are seeking to obtain our immunity. As I said last night: "They have immunity now, but death awaits them later!"
Let us hope that the Revolutionary Guards and the police will peacefully merge with Iranian patriots and work together to restore Iran to its rightful greatness. This process should begin soon, because not only is Khamenei dead, but the country has been, in a single day, largely destroyed, if not annihilated.
The intensive and precise bombing will continue, however, without interruption throughout the week, or for as long as necessary to achieve our goal of PEACE IN THE MIDDLE EAST AND, IN FACT, IN THE WORLD!
