L'Etat islamique revendique l'attentat de Kaboul
The Islamic State group claimed responsibility for an attack on a Chinese restaurant in the Afghan capital Kabul, the SITE Intelligence Group reported Tuesday, after an explosion that killed at least seven people.
"The Islamic State in Afghanistan has placed Chinese nationals on its target list, particularly in light of the escalating crimes committed by the Chinese government against oppressed Uyghur Muslims," reads the statement from the armed group quoted by SITE.
“A Chinese Muslim, Ayub, and six Afghans were killed, and several others were injured,” said Khalid Zadran, spokesman for the Afghan capital’s police. “The explosion occurred near the kitchen” of the noodle restaurant, which is mainly frequented by Chinese Muslims, he added.
