Israel sees the possibility of a rapid conclusion of new peace treaties between Israel and Arab or Muslim countries thanks to Donald Trump, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said Monday in a speech to Parliament in the presence of the American president.

"Under your leadership, we can forge new peace treaties with Arab countries in the region and Muslim countries beyond," and "I believe that with President Trump's leadership, this will happen much faster than some think," Netanyahu said, referring to the Abraham Accords, which brought Israel and several Arab countries closer together during Trump's first term.

"As Prime Minister of Israel, I extend my hand to those who seek peace with us. No one desires peace more than the people of Israel," Netanyahu added from the podium of the Israeli parliament in Jerusalem.
