Pédocriminalité internationale : des enfants sénégalais victimes de viols et d’inoculation du VIH
A judicial investigation in France has revealed the existence of a dangerous international pedocriminal network. It includes prominent French figures. It allegedly organized gang rapes of minors in Senegal, Morocco, and potentially other African countries, with one particularly shocking feature: the voluntary inoculation of some victims with HIV, reports Les Échos, which covered the case extensively in its Wednesday edition.
At the heart of this story, the newspaper explains, is Pierre Robert, 72, a wealthy French businessman from Beauvais. He is suspected of having ordered these acts for several years. He owned several properties in Senegal and organized abuses against vulnerable children, aged 5 to 17, using local contacts. He remains in detention.
The abuse was filmed and posted on the dark web, fueling an international child pornography network. Up to 150 children may be involved, including around 20 victims identified in Senegal.
Another suspect, Adrien Bastard, 43, also from Beauvais, was released on August 12 despite the seriousness of the charges and opposition from the prosecution, the same source noted. He is being prosecuted for human trafficking and aggravated pimping. His precise involvement remains unclear, but he is believed to have played a facilitating role in the network. His release sparked an outcry in France.
Focus on Senegal
The case broke in early April with the arrest of four men in the Oise department. Thousands of child pornography files were seized. Investigators uncovered a structured organization, with international logistics and accomplices in the targeted countries, the daily newspaper reports.
Senegal appears to be the network's primary operating area. The predators targeted children from disadvantaged neighborhoods in Dakar or coastal regions, lured by false promises. The abuse was methodical and organized in private residences owned by Robert. The deliberate inoculation of some victims with HIV is described by investigators as an "ultimate act of domination."
Senegalese authorities have been asked to cooperate, but no local arrests have been confirmed to date. NGOs such as Wanted Pedo and children's rights groups are warning of the risk of impunity for local accomplices.
