Pierre, 91 ans, devient père pour la septième fois: “Je ne suis pas si vieux que ça”
Pierre Sablé, a nonagenarian living in the Pyrénées-Orientales region, has clearly heeded President Macron's call to "demographically rearm" France. And with good reason: he has just become a father for the seventh time, each time with a different woman.
At 91 years old, Pierre Sablé displays remarkable vitality. A renowned marathon runner in the Pyrénées-Orientales for his sporting achievements despite his advanced age, he became a father for the seventh time a few months ago.
His daughter, Louisa Maria, was born from his marriage to Aïcha, 39. Pierre Sablé already had six children, all by different mothers, one of whom sadly passed away. Sixty years separate Louisa Maria from her older sister.
“I’m not that old.”
“At 91, I think I’m in good shape,” he told L’Indépendant, a regional newspaper. “I’m the only one running at 91, doing trail runs. I work the whole property. I work the land where we’ve planted. As if I were 20 years younger,” he said. “I’m not that old,” the “young” father added with a smile.
Pierre Sablé acknowledges that becoming a father at 91 is far from common, but he remains indifferent to criticism, he confides, his daughter in his arms.
“I am happy”
For her part, Aïcha describes Pierre as “a very good dad” and “a very good husband.” “Of course, it may be surprising. But if I were asked the question, if I am happy, I would say yes. I am happy,” she affirms.
