Iran's airspace was partially reopened on Saturday morning and international flights were once again allowed to fly over the east of the country, the Civil Aviation Organization announced, as quoted by the Tasnim news agency.
"The air corridors in the east of the country are open to international flights" and several airports reopened at 07:00 (03:30 GMT), the agency said, citing a message to pilots of aircraft worldwide (NOTAM system), against the backdrop of a ceasefire in the Middle East war.
According to the aircraft tracking website FlightRadar24, shortly before 07:00 GMT, no aircraft were yet flying over Iran, which had closed its airspace on February 28, at the start of the Israeli-American offensive against its territory .
