Affaire Aziz Dabala : «Nabou Lèye n’a pas…»
The case of the double murder at the Technopole, in which dancer Aziz Dabala and his nephew Boubacar Gano were the victims, has been reopened, notably with the recent arrest of singer Tarba Mbaye. Mbaye, intercepted at the Blaise Diagne International Airport (AIBD) as he was about to leave Senegal, was questioned and then released on summons.
Libération reports that, in accordance with the investigating magistrate's wishes, he was to be confronted with the other defendants in the case. These include the main accused, Mamadou Lamine Diaw, also known as Modou Lô, who is in pretrial detention, and the dancer Nabou Lèye, who has been granted provisional release.
But in its Monday edition, Les Échos reports that Nabou Lèye's lawyer does not confirm this information. "She has not received a summons from either the investigators or the investigating judge," the lawyer stated, according to the newspaper.
Released from prison and questioned again as part of the investigation, Modu Lô allegedly implicated Nabou Lèye and Tarba Mbaye, presenting them as the masterminds behind the murder of Aziz Dabala.
The judge in charge of the case would like to hear all these arguments at the same time in order to get a definitive answer.
