Affaire Bébé Diène : en larmes, Boy Kaïré accuse Zarco
Wrestler Bébé Diène spent his first night in prison. Born Amadou Cheikhou Diallo, this Guinean national was charged and remanded in custody for criminal conspiracy, forgery and use of forged public documents, and making false statements.
Implicated in a vast civil registry fraud scandal at the Wakhinane Nimzatt town hall, orchestrated through a "ghost register" dating back to 2017, the wrestler was sent to prison along with several other defendants. Among them are his guardian and intermediary, Boubacar Thiam, as well as the civil registrar Hamady Diallo, alias "Nini." In total, about ten people, including intermediaries and beneficiaries, were brought before the prosecutor by the Urban Security Unit (SU).
Boy Kaïré's emotion and accusations
Record reports that Boy Kaïré, founder of the Soumbédioune stable where the defendant trained, went to court to support his protégé. The sports daily specifies that Bébé Diène bears the name Diène Kaïré, son of Boy Kaïré.
Visibly moved, the former wrestler couldn't contain his emotion and burst into tears when addressing the press. Before being overcome by grief, Boy Kaïré insisted on giving a glowing tribute to the wrestler, while also taking a direct jab at Zarco. He openly accused Zarco of being behind Bébé Diène's legal troubles, pointing the finger at him as the instigator of the whole affair.
As a reminder, Bébé Diène was supposed to face Zarco this Sunday, but the wrestling match was cancelled.
