Affaire François Mancabou : le juge convoque une dizaine de témoins, policiers et civils
The judge of the second investigating chamber of the Dakar High Court has summoned around ten people - police officers and civilians - for this Friday and tomorrow, Saturday, in order to shed full light on the circumstances of the tragedy, reports L'Observateur in its edition of this Friday, August 22.
Among those expected, the same source cites, are several Central Police officers on duty on the day of the incident, as well as civilians who were on the premises for private business. All are expected to share their share of the truth about what really happened.
As a reminder, François Mancabou was arrested in June 2022 during the protests that followed the arrest of Ousmane Sonko, now Prime Minister. Presented as a suspected member of the "special forces," he was accused of participating in the manufacture of Molotov cocktails and attacks on law enforcement. But his death, which occurred in police custody, immediately raised strong suspicions.
The family denounced acts of torture, while the police categorically denied it, relying on the report of the Criminal Investigation Division (DIC). According to investigators, a video filed in the case shows Mancabou violently throwing himself against the violin's grilles. An autopsy report and other medical evidence indicate that he died from these injuries.

Protection de la secte oblige.
Tout ça pour donner de quoi broyer les haineux.
Ce gars s'est suicidé.
Aucun autre n'a subit de blessures, leurs avocats étaient là.
