Affaire Mara Diop : Son sort entre les mains du procureur, après le désistement de Badara Gaye
Following the intervention of well-intentioned individuals and political authorities, businessman Badara Gaye submitted a letter of withdrawal to the public prosecutor's office on Friday, thus withdrawing the complaint he had filed against Mara Diop alias "Bro".
However, he was taken this morning to the Dakar prosecutor's office by the Special Cybersecurity Division (DSC).
Badara Gaye accused Mara Diop of illegally collecting personal data, publishing images contrary to public morals, and of violence and assault.
His fate now rests in the hands of the prosecutor, who will decide what to do next in the proceedings.
