AGRESSION À MBORO : Le procureur requiert 3 ans ferme contre les prévenus
Charged with assault, violence and battery, Charles and Pierre are brought before the court of flagrant offenses in Thiès, for having assaulted the old B. Mbaye and the young A. Dièye, in Mboro.
According to the victims, they were intercepted at night by the accused, who were armed with machetes, and their cell phones were stolen. Elder B. Mbaye stated that when he tried to fight back, the assailants attacked him with a machete. He is demanding one million CFA francs in damages.
For his part, young A. Dièye stated that the attackers did not harm him because he handed over his iPhone 13 without resistance, in order to preserve his life.
The defendants denied this. Charles stated that he was present at the scene of the attack, but that he did not assault anyone. He announced that he recognized the attackers and specified that he had given their names to the investigators.
Believing the defendants guilty of the acts, the public prosecutor requested three years of imprisonment.
Their fate will be decided soon.
