Colère du général-ministre : Clédor Sène passe la nuit à la Section de recherches
Amadou Clédor Sène was taken into custody at the Colobane Research Section last Tuesday. He spent the night there before being released this Wednesday. He is the subject of a complaint by General Birame Diop, Minister of the Armed Forces, who accuses him of defamation and spreading false news.
The case relates to the accused's outburst regarding an alleged land deal involving former President Macky Sall and the son of businessman Gaby Perez, Idan, regarding the sale of a 4,000 m2 plot of land near the Palace of the Republic. In the incriminating video, which is six months old, Clédor Sène claims that the former head of state allegedly allocated the plot in exchange for the construction by the beneficiary of the Gendarmerie Directorate housed at the Samba Diéry Diallo Barracks.
According to L'Observateur, which revealed Sène's brief arrest in its Thursday edition, the latter went further by adding that "General Birame Diop [CEMGA at the time of the alleged events] [had] knowledge of the land transaction and would know the Perez family."
The Minister of the Armed Forces was in a state after viewing the video in his office, the daily newspaper reported. "Feeling offended and wanting above all to clear his name, he filed a complaint against his accuser with the Dakar court's prosecutor's office. On the instructions of the public prosecutor, an investigation was subsequently opened by members of the Colobane Research Section," the newspaper reported.
Facing investigators, Birame Diop dismissed Clédor Sène's accusations, stating that he had never been aware of the transaction in question. When questioned in turn last Tuesday, the accused reportedly changed his mind. L'Observateur reports that he has indeed withdrawn his comments and apologized to the complainant.
Despite this, Clédor Sène was taken into custody before being released on Wednesday. On the same day, the Future Media Group newspaper adds, the Minister of the Armed Forces sent a letter of withdrawal to the public prosecutor following "several interventions aimed at granting a pardon to the accused."

3/ meme si c'était vrai, cela montre que la diffusion, la vulgarisation d'information liées à l'image de personnes et de personnalités doit être limitée et encadrée.
4/ je suis ravi de l'humanisme de diop général. Ça confirme les témoignages sur cet homme.
D'aucuns disent que c'est un maître chanteur qui à travers ses attaques cherche à se faire payer pour se taire. Les télés qui n'ont pas de programme invitent ce genre de personne pour avoir de l'audience. Il faut que ça cesse
