Décès tragique du douanier Adama Ndiaye à Thiès : Le chauffeur du camion Pape Faye et son compagnon Gora Diouck placés sous mandat de dépôt
Pape Faye, the truck driver who struck customs officer Adama Ndiaye, and his companion Gora Diouck were brought before the Thiès prosecutor's office on Tuesday, December 2, 2025. They were then remanded in custody by the investigating judge of the 1st Chamber of the Thiès High Court. Charged with murder, driving under the influence of drugs, and possession and use of marijuana, Pape Faye and Gora Diouck will spend their first night in the Dixième prison (Thiès).
Born on September 24, 1997, in Diobas, truck driver Pape Faye resided in Pout. He fatally struck Chief Customs Officer Adama Ndiaye, who was serving with Brigade No. 1 of the Thiès Multipurpose Fraud Investigation and Repression Group (GPR). He was accompanied by two other individuals, including driver Gora Diouck, born on September 24, 1999, in Bambilor, where he also resided.
As a reminder, this death occurred under tragic circumstances on Tuesday, November 25, 2025, at around 11 p.m., during a routine check-up.
Indeed, armed with their mission orders, three customs officers from the aforementioned customs unit were on patrol near Mboro. They spotted a suspicious truck parked in Darou Khoudoss, on the ICS Road, opposite the local municipal stadium. The squad then pulled up to inspect the truck's contents.
It was at that precise moment that the driver sped off and drove straight at them, fatally striking Officer Adama Ndiaye. The truck was caught further down the road following a chase initiated by the two other Customs officers, but the three people on board unfortunately managed to escape.
The investigations carried out to determine the exact circumstances of this tragedy led to the location and apprehension of the truck driver Pape Faye, and later Gora Diouck.

Je conseille vivent aux FDS qui font des contrôles sur les routes de faire très très attention en évitant de se mettre sur la chaussée ou dans une position où une perte de contrôle d’un véhicule pourrait survenir. Il y a tellement d’accidents de ce genres car on ne ne connaît ni l’état du conducteur ou du véhicule.

L'arrestation de son compagnon pour quel motif ?
Libérez son compagnon, il ne conduisait pas
En principe seul le conducteur doit être arrêté pour homicide involontaire ( défaut de maîtrise) ou volontaire et délit de fuite
