Dérapage sur TikTok : « Lass-Acteur » et « Mineur Bi » déférés
Three young content creators were brought before the prosecutor's office on Tuesday for public insults and offensive online behavior. They are A. Sow (23 years old), L. Ba (22 years old), administrator of the "Lass-Acteur" account, and A. Fall (18 years old), known by the pseudonym "Mineur Bi". The trio had previously been arrested by the Dakar (Faidherbe) Research Brigade.
It all started with a video posted on TikTok, reports Libération in its Wednesday, January 21st edition. The scene, filmed on a street in the Aliou Sow neighborhood of Guédiawaye, features "Lass-Acteur" playing the role of a beggar soliciting charity from "Mineur Bi," while Sow looks on. However, the clip quickly sparked outrage online due to the vicious and obscene insults hurled by the young woman at the supposed beggar, the same source explains.
"The oversight of censorship"
When questioned by police, the accused attempted to justify the video's content. The scriptwriter claimed his initial intention was to raise awareness about human solidarity. According to him, "Mineur Bi" had "gone off the rails" during filming by improvising insults not included in the script. While admitting to posting the video online, the account administrator swore he had simply "forgotten to censor" the offensive language before publication.
