Mr. T. Dramé goes about his business quietly, but remains at the disposal of the courts. He is accused of breach of trust by a trader named K. Coly, who has filed a complaint with the DIC seeking compensation.
The two parties were linked by a deal involving a container of goods from China. According to L'Observateur, which reported on the case in its Wednesday edition, K. Coly, the owner of the cargo, had instructed MT Dramé to sell the contents to his clients, including the Riu Baobab hotel and Eiffage, and to pay him the proceeds after making his profits.
The goods were worth 19,560,000 CFA francs, an amount the trader was to receive within fifteen days of the terms of the agreement reached with the accused in June 2025, the daily newspaper of the Future Media Group states. "For four months, [Dramé] continued to delay, multiplying excuses and broken promises," the newspaper points out.
During this period, the same source reports, the intermediary also requested and obtained from his business partner the sum of 100,000 CFA francs, supposedly representing "transportation costs in order to recover funds from clients in Mbour." But he did not pay the money at the specified time.
As a countermeasure, L'Observateur continues, he claims to have lent the funds to his mother for the needs of the Magal of Touba. "The latter turned out to be Aïda Ndiongue, the famous politician," the newspaper reports. It indicates that in the end, Dramé only paid 2,650,000, leaving the plaintiff with 16,406,000.
Faced with the DIC investigators, the accused admitted the facts, but claimed that "difficulties" prevented him from recovering all the funds, reports the daily newspaper, before concluding that during their confrontation, the parties maintained their statements made during their respective hearings.
