Escroquerie liée au système QNET : Teize individus interpellés à Zac Mbao
The Zac Mbao district police station arrested 13 individuals involved in an alleged fraud case involving the QNET system, a company often cited in similar cases across the country. Following the proceedings, the 13 individuals were referred to the public prosecutor's office for alleged fraud.
The operation was launched following the filing of a complaint by a victim, who stated that he had been recruited for an allegedly lucrative activity and was asked to pay the sum of 450,000 CFA francs.
Alerted, the victim's uncle went to the scene, in Zac Mbao, where he managed to identify and arrest one of the alleged fraudsters before taking him to the district police station.
During his hearing, the first suspect denied having personally received the sum. However, further investigations allowed investigators to locate and arrest his accomplices based in the Sonatel housing project in Zac Mbao. In total, thirteen people were arrested in connection with this case.
The accused were briefly questioned and stated that they were employees of QNET. Investigators also seized several items, which have since been sealed.
