Farba Ngom et Pape Malick Ndour : fin du suspense, la date fixée
Farba Ngom and Pape Malick Ndour should learn their fate next Tuesday. Les Échos reports that the criminal chamber of the Supreme Court has set this date to rule on their appeals.
For the mayor of Agnam, this is an appeal by the Attorney General against the ruling of the Financial Indictment Chamber granting him provisional release with electronic bracelet, in the case of the 125 billion CFA francs.
The second appeal was initiated by the former Minister of Youth. Ndour, who was granted provisional release pending a final decision, is contesting the ruling by the Financial Indictment Chamber ordering his detention in the PRODAC case.
Les Échos reports that the two APR leaders have assembled teams of lawyers composed of leading figures in the legal profession. Farba Ngom has recruited ten lawyers, while Pape Malick Ndour has eight. Six of his lawyers are involved in both cases: El Hadji Amadou Sall, El Hadji Oumar Youm, Antoine Mbengue, Aboubacary Deh, Adama Fall, and Ousmane Thiam.
