Fin de cavale pour Abdallah Sow : Le promoteur immobilier arrêté à Yenne après 17 plaintes
Untraceable and wanted for several weeks, real estate developer Abdallah Sow was finally caught in Yenne, where he was picked up by the gendarmes of the Faidherbe Research Brigade, under the Dakar gendarmerie company.
According to Seneweb sources, the man is the subject of numerous complaints related to the fraudulent sale of land. One of the first cases dates back to January 10, 2026, when he allegedly sold two plots of land, each 300 square meters, to two buyers, based on deeds of transfer and releases. Trusting these documents, one of the buyers began construction by erecting a boundary wall, which was quickly destroyed by individuals claiming to be the rightful owners of the land.
The victims claim to have been repeatedly redirected to different sites without ever being able to take actual possession of their land, with the same difficulties recurring systematically. The accused's modus operandi is not limited to this case. Another complainant states that she acquired eleven plots from the same individual, but without receiving the required administrative documents. For over two years, she says she has been shuttled from site to site before being systematically evicted by the rightful owners.
In total, seventeen complaints have been recorded by investigators from the Dakar Research Brigade, triggering a sustained manhunt. The investigation continues in order to identify any other potential victims and to fully understand the extent of the harm.
