Fin de suppléance d’Aminata Mbengue Ndiaye au Secrétariat général du PS : Le juge des référés va trancher le 29 septembre
At the request of the Initiative of the Collective of Executives of the Socialist Party (PS), the interim judge of the Dakar High Court, Samba Ndiaye, examined the case concerning Aminata Mbengue Ndiaye, interim secretary general of the PS. The summons aims to terminate her replacement and restore legality within the party.
The plaintiffs, represented by Mr. El Hadj Diouf, argue that since the death of Ousmane Tanor Dieng in 2019, no congress has been organized and that the PS authorities have been at a standstill.
Referring also to the state of health of Aminata Mbengue Ndiaye, they demand the convening of a congress to elect a new secretary general.
Aminata Mbengue Ndiaye's defense was handled by the firm of Aïssata Tall Sall et Associés. In his closing argument, Aboubacry Barro rejected the opposing party's arguments, pointing out that a congress is already scheduled for December 2025. He therefore asked the court to dismiss the applicants' claims.
The case was adjourned until September 29, 2025.

Aminata Mbengue Ndiaye : Continuer à vouloir être secrétaire général du parti socialiste à son âge et sa condition de santé est un manque de dignité et de générosité envers la jeunesse de ce parti.
